Pigment implanted into the upper layer of the skin, with a fine hand blade or a digital machine. It sits shallower than a tattoo, the pigment is chosen to fade warm rather than grey, and it is placed as individual hair strokes or a soft powdered shade — not as a drawn-on line.
It fades, and that is the design. You are committing to a brow for a year or two, not for life — long enough to stop thinking about it, short enough that your face and your taste get a say again.
How it works
Three appointments, one brow.

Nothing opens until the shape is agreed.
The first visit is consultation and patch test only — your skin, your medications, what you have been drawing on. Then the shape is pencilled on and measured against your bone structure, and no pigment is opened until you have looked in the mirror and said yes to it.

The pigment goes in shallow, in layers.
Numbing first, refreshed as we work. Strokes or shading are built up in passes rather than forced in one — working in layers is what keeps the result reading as hair instead of as a line, and it is the difference you see two years later.

Ten days of healing, then we perfect it.
It looks darker and sharper for the first few days, then lightens and softens as it heals. At six to eight weeks we see how your skin actually held the pigment and correct it. That session is part of the price, not an upsell.

Is this not the opposite of what you do?
Threading builds a brow out of the hair you already have; permanent makeup draws one where the hair does not grow. Doing both is exactly what lets us tell you honestly which one your face needs — and often the answer is still threading.
How long does it last?
One to three years, depending on your skin, your sun exposure and how you look after it. Oily skin fades softer and faster. It is meant to fade — a colour boost brings it back rather than a correction having to fix it.
Does it hurt?
A topical numbing cream goes on before we start and is refreshed while we work. Most people describe scratching rather than pain. The brow is easier than the lip; we will tell you which you are in for before you commit.
Who should not have it?
Tell us at the consultation if you are pregnant or nursing, taking blood thinners or Accutane, prone to keloid scarring, or have had recent work on the area. Some of those mean waiting, some mean no — and that is a conversation in person, not over text.
Can you work over someone else's work?
Sometimes. Old pigment that has faded grey or blue limits what can be placed over it, so a correction starts with seeing it in daylight. Send a photo and we will tell you honestly before you book anything.
