Booking an appointment

Appointments are currently booked through Booksy. When you tap “Book”, you leave this site and Booksy handles your booking and your payment details under its own privacy policy — we never see your card number. What we receive back is the appointment itself: your name, the service, and the time.

Creating an account

If you create an account, we hold your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your appointment history with us. We use it to show you your appointments and to contact you about them. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

The chat assistant

The chat box on this site is an AI assistant, not a person, and it says so when you open it. What you type is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply and is stored so we can follow up on your question and improve the answers. Please don’t type card numbers, government ID numbers, or anything confidential — if you need to discuss something sensitive, call us.

Email we send you

We send appointment confirmations, a reminder the day before, and a short follow-up after your visit. These are about your appointment, not marketing. If you opted in to studio news when you created your account, you can turn that off in your account or by replying to any of those emails.

Text messages

If you agree to appointment texts, the terms for that programme — what we send, how often, and how to stop — are set out on our policies page. We do not sell or share your mobile number.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to see which pages are used and how fast they load. These collect page views and performance timings. They do not use advertising cookies and we do not build advertising profiles.

Who else handles your information

We use service providers to run the site and reach you. They process your information on our instructions only:

• Booksy — appointment booking and payment
• Supabase — database and account sign-in
• Vercel — hosting, analytics and performance monitoring
• Resend — sending email
• Google — the calendar the studio checks
• Anthropic — generating the chat assistant’s replies

How long we keep it

Appointment and account records are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Chat conversations are kept so we can follow up and improve the assistant. Ask us to delete something and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and you may have equivalent rights elsewhere. Call or text us and we will handle it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
